Thanks

Thank you to everyone who participated in the summit events, both physically and virtually. The two day meetings generated numerous insights and recommendations about the future of adult education. By the end of the consensus process on Friday the 6th, both groups had assembled a list of issues for supporting lifelong learning as the field moves into new and exciting directions with the aid of emerging technologies. The next step in the process will be the refinement of those recommendations for use in Virginia and elsewhere.

Stay tuned to this space for updates and revisions regarding the recommendations. We hope everyone will continue to participate by posting to the forums on this Ning site. In the meantime, please continue the discussions that have started here in the forum. The participants' position papers will remain here for your review.

Together, we can promote a vision for adult education in 2020.
